Privacy policy

In short: your trip plan stays in your own browser. It is never sent to our servers.

What is stored in your browser

The planner keeps these in your browser's localStorage so they are there next time: chosen sites, visited sites, trip dates, packing list, comparison list, language, currency, exchange rates, theme and text size. You can delete them at any time with your browser's "clear site data" option.

Shared links

When you press "Share trip link", the link contains only the site codes and your start date. Only the people you send it to will see it.

Outside services we use

• Google Fonts — to load the Bangla and English typefaces.
• OpenStreetMap and unpkg (Leaflet) — to show maps on site pages.
• Open-Meteo — to show weather for a site (only the site's location is sent, not yours).
• ExchangeRate-API (open.er-api.com) — to fetch today's dollar rates for taka and rupees.
• Contact form service — when the form is enabled, it delivers your name, email and message to us.

Like any website, these services can see your IP address. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add privacy-friendly, cookie-free statistics (such as Plausible) in future, we will say so here.
